Content Designer  (Remote)


As a member of the Experience Design team, the Content Designer is expected to write, organize, and edit content that is compelling and user-focused in collaboration with a cross-functional team.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Knowledge of content design, UX, and accessibility best practices
  • Experience as a copywriter, content designer, or UX writer
  • Experience working in content management systems (CMS)
  • Familiarity with sitemaps, content plans, wireframes, and other artifacts used to communicate content strategy
  • Strong grammar, writing, and editing skills
  • Adherence to tone of voice guidelines and brand standards
  • Advocacy for users and ability to present rationale for creative decisions
  • Willingness to give and accept feedback
  • BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Experience in an agile/scrum environment
  • Experience using design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Xd, or Figma

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • copywriter, content designer, or UX writer: 3 years (Preferred)
  • content management systems (CMS): 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: Remote
