LOCATION: Nailsworth - Office based (Not remote working)

HOURS: 9.00am – 5.00pm (40 hours paid)

START DATE: Immediate

PAY: £23,000 - £28,000 per annum

Vacancy - Web Designer

ESS Employment are seeking a talented Branding / Web Designer with a bold approach to client briefs with good attention to detail. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join a multi-award-winning web design business whose going through significant transformation. You will be part of a small team. This is an office based role. Not eremote working so you will need to be within commuting distance of Nailsworth

DUTIES:

· Be involved in the technical and graphical aspects of web pages and will determine the look of the website as well as how it works

· design sample page layouts including font, text size and colours

· design graphics, animations and manipulate digital photographs

· present initial design ideas to clients

· design the website's visual imagery and ensure it's in line with company branding policy or the requirements of the client

· create brand guidelines

· liaise with all stakeholders to ensure projects run on time

· work with the marketing department to create assets for marketing campaigns

SKILLS REQUIRED

· Adobe XD Experience of CSS and HTML and ability to create website designs from design mock-ups (Adobe XD)

· Good understanding of UX and best practices

· Excellent design skills

· Flair for creative graphics

· Demonstrating a customer-based perspective

· Proven track record in tailoring the content to the customer needs

· Excellent attention to detail

· Ability to solve problems

· Excellent understanding of WordPress CMS and Woo Commerce

· In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)

· Proficient understanding of mobile-friendly design

· Familiarity with software like Adobe Suite, Photoshop, XD

· Ability to work to deadlines/budgets
